Any articles, photos and comments would be welcome. With a thousand members I'm sure some of you must be capable of producing some quality photos of fish from club waters.

Remember Dick Bateman's huge roach from last month. According to Phil Harrison it weighed 2lbs 14oz and was caught from the notoriously hard East Mills on the Hampshire Avon in early 1996.	Far be it for me to repeat what Phil said about Dick - let me just say that his pike is less impressive. Judging by the fence behind him he was probably poaching anyway.

The VAC trout season will commence on Saturday 23rd March.

This popular section of the VAC welcomes new members for fly-only trout fishing during the traditional close season at our Riverside Road fishery.

Day ticket sessions with a competent instructor can be arranged.
