Early opening for Riverside

To avoid leaving Riverside open to cormorant attack at the end of the trout season the general committee have agreed to open riverside to all paid-up members from Monday June 9th.

 

Chips as chips

A years adult membership of the VAC costs just £50 and provides excellent fishing on a range of venues, some of which are open all year. If you are not already a member, now's the best time to join - just click here for details.

 

 

 

 

 

New Night Fishing Opportunities at Riverside & Frogmore

Night fishing is to be allowed at Frogmore and Riverside Road fishery for a trial period on a restricted permit only basis.

 

This facility is open to all members except juniors (under 18) unless accompanied by a senior member.

 

Strict rules will apply and a night fishing permit must be obtained before fishing at a cost of £3 per night per member.

 

All club rules and regulations will apply and in addition the following . . .

  • One rod only

  • No bivvies or tents. Umbrellas only will be allowed.

  • The night fishing period will be one hour after sunset until one hour before sunrise. Outside these times normal fishing can take place.

This facility may be withdrawn at any time if the terms and conditions are not strictly adhered to.
