Holiday
Fishing? If
any members are holidaying in Tenerife at the Southern end give Mike a

In
four hours I had about 15 with two good doubles to 12lb 8oz. All for £25

The
Big ONE
|
Across
our various waters the VAC is proud to boast good stocks
of fish of all sizes and all species. Our biggest known fish
is quite a frequent visitor to the Smallford
bankside and has been recorded in recent months at weights
between 35lb and 37lb 14oz.
Here we
feature member Rob Norris who reported her weight at 35lb. But
Smallford is more than just carp with plenty of tench to 9lb,
bream to 8lb and even a roach of 3½lb reported in recent
weeks.

LOST ROD: A
member left his Silstar match rod behind when fishing Leasey Bridge
recently. If
anyone has any information, please contact the Secretary.

Any articles, photos and comments
would be welcome. With a thousand members I'm sure some of you
must be capable of producing some quality photos of fish from
club waters.
Familiar faces again
this month (doesn't anyone else carry a camera). I managed to get Nick Marsh
to snap one of those pesky tench that keep interrupting his carping
at Smallford - just a small one at 7lb 4oz !! And young Andrew
Killinger has continued his good form with this twenty, also from
Smallford.  
As
Andrew has been so prolific I've awarded him the Compaq PC for his
contributions.
But
don't let that stop you sending in your pics of fish from club
waters. Any long term members out there got some snaps of how our
waters looked back in the days of Black & White?
